1. Agreement to Terms

By booking and utilizing the services of Kinetic Movers, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before availing our services.

2. Service Description

Kinetic Movers is a furniture moving company operating in Melbourne, Australia. We specialize in the transportation and handling of furniture and related items. Our services include loading, transportation, unloading, and placement of furniture as specified by the customer.

3. Booking and Payment

Booking: To schedule a move with Kinetic Movers, customers are required to make a booking in advance. This can be done via our website, phone, or in-person consultation.

Payment: Payment for our services is due at the end of the job. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic bank transfers. We do not accept checks. In case of any dispute regarding payment, please contact our office immediately.

4. Pricing

Quotation: The pricing for our services will be provided to you as a quotation prior to the move. This quotation will outline the cost of services, any additional fees (e.g., for packing materials), and the expected duration of the job.

Additional Services: If additional services not specified in the original quotation are requested by the customer, additional charges may apply. These charges will be discussed with the customer and agreed upon before commencement of the additional work.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Customer: If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled move. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

Cancellation by Kinetic Movers: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a job due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, equipment failure, or other issues that may affect the safety of our staff or the successful completion of the move. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule the job at a convenient time for the customer.

6. Liability and Insurance

Customer's Responsibility: While we take every precaution to ensure the safe handling of your furniture, Kinetic Movers is not responsible for any damage to items that are improperly packed or prepared for transportation. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all items are adequately protected and secured.

Insurance: Kinetic Movers carries insurance coverage for liability during the transportation of your furniture. We will provide information regarding our insurance policy upon request. However, this insurance may not cover certain valuable or fragile items. Customers are encouraged to purchase additional insurance if necessary.

7. Complaints and Disputes

Complaints: If you have any complaints or concerns about our services, please contact us within 7 days of the move. We will investigate the matter and attempt to resolve any issues in a fair and timely manner.

Disputes: In case of disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Kinetic Movers reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the customer's responsibility to review them periodically.
